Oh there is four of them that I can tell... Be still my heart...
In a bit of a panicked fervor we went to the local pet stores (that's right, two) that were open late on Saturdays and bought some food and a hydrometer and some more sand and a net and found the most amazing girl at Petco, who promptly informed us she was moving to Fiji or someplace amazing at the end of the month to work on aquariums there. We have quarantined them (the crabs not the employees at Petco) and are coming up with a game plan currently...

Let there be life!
Scraping the fish tank gunk while Chris plays GOW2... Oh the joys of Saturdays...
Chris takes a break to come help and I add a couple inches of water to help "soften" the crap that has solidified and ossified to the tank walls for the x amount of days the tank has been sitting (looking at the first pictures I would guess WEEKS). Chris says, "Hey look at him" and I about die of shock! Meet Fernando, the hermit crap who apparently refused to die, even though he was without food and water and any sort of nurturing for an undisclosed period of torture! Chris is of course 100% right... I have realized I am going to worry myself sick over the fish because I am already convinced the crab who wouldn't die is on his death bed (despite his obvious hardiness) and I can't stop fretting...

The 1st night
Well last night we drove out to almost nowhere and picked up the tank. The gentleman we purchased it from was very generous and help us out by giving us quite a few extra items to help us get started. Most of these we have no idea what they were, what they are for, or how to hook them up. It will be a fun puzzle to hook up. The tank was in great shape and looks amazing, not to mention a good fit in the house. The 1st step will definitely be a good scrubbing.
We took a few pictures that we will get into the slide show tonight.
Come back for more updates we will try to post offten.
